The common mistake in risk management is to assume that merely developing and updating risk registers utilising an expensive risk management information system will ensure program success.
Over many years and experiences, we have developed and refined our approach to risk management based upon what we have found does and does not work for our clients and based upon the many different reasons companies adopt risk management programs. The key is to effectively integrate risk management in your business so that it is a fundamental management discipline. Based upon what we have learnt, the basic MYR approach to delivering any service you might require is shown in the diagram opposite.
Our consulting approach is project driven. Our consulting teams work with clients in structured review, assessment and planning sessions and support this work through teleconferences and email documentation exchange. In this way we can practically and cost effectively support our clients globally.
